CHoG Missions
The various missions outreach of the Church of God in Barbados exist to create strategic partnerships for missions with individuals and local congregations responding to the Lord's call to make disciples among all people groups of the earth—sending missionaries, supporting national leaders, and advancing the work of the Church of God in several nations.

Career Missionaries
Career missionaries are committed to long-term cross-cultural ministry. They work closely with the leaders and congregations with whom they serve. Developing leadership among the national Christians is a priority. Career missionaries may be teachers, church planters, evangelists, or medical or development workers, but their highest priority is to model a Christian lifestyle and to mentor leaders for the church.

The following career missionaries are now serving:
• Wanda Kirton (Albania, Eastern Europe)
• Kimberley Maynard
(Burkina Faso, West Africa)

Teachers In Haiti
This financial outreach has been supported by the dedicated pledges of people who have caught the vision to support teachers in Church of God schools in Haiti. In a situation where teachers are paid as little a USD $2.00 a month this outreach has been a wonderful blessing to the efforts made by those who serve in Haiti.

Missions Trips
On several occasions teams of believers have visited nearby territories with the aim of working together with Church of God congregations and ministries. The goal of these trips have been to see needs met and souls won for the Kingdom of God.

The most recent have been to St. Vincent & the Grenadines headed by a team from the Church of God Silver Sands and Grenada visited by a team led by Mile & A Quarter Church of God; both in 2007.

Work Teams
The Body of Christ finds its expression in the local church as well as in the global community of believers. Work teams offer an opportunity to help and fellowship with other believers across cultural, economic and social boundaries. In the context of the Barbadian church many of our buildings have benefited from the assistance of bretheren involved in such work teams. If you would like to be involved in a work team call the G.A. office at 426-5327.
